What lies just outside your comfort zone...

growth, coaching, leadership

Let me ask you a question... When was the last time you did something that SCARED you?

If you’re like most people, it was a while ago. It felt unnatural to do, and you had to be brave to take the leap. But you DID it!

This is stepping outside of your comfort zone.

Your comfort zone is the routine you stick to that minimizes risk and stress. But there are some major reasons why you need to push through this invisible boundary. I wanted to share some of those reasons with you.

You will grow and improve. Because of our fear of failure, we are missing out on our massive potential. When we are able to push past that fear, we have access to learning and personal growth that will allow our lives to flourish.

You will discover new passions. When you have the courage to move out into the unknown, it is common to find new paths and purposes that you never even realized were there. These could turn into passions that completely change your life for the better.

You will gain momentum. Every step you take outside your comfort zone, your actions will create a snowball effect. You will achieve results that grow to be far beyond what you thought you were capable of, just by getting that ball rolling.

You will become fearless. You will get more and more familiar with the process of moving outside your comfort zone. You will come to know that taking action is actually the antidote for fear. Think about that for a moment.

So today, I invite you to do one thing that scares the heck out of you. - Make that phone call.

- Write that letter. - Apply for that grant or loan. - Start that project you’ve been dreaming of.

And see what happens!
